RED 2014/53/EU

The product carries the CE marking. The Union legislation applicable to it is:

As radio equipment, the essential requirements for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility are covered by Article 3.1 of the Radio Equipment Directive. The Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU therefore do not apply separately.

The product has also been assessed against REACH (EC) 1907/2006 (see substance information below) and the Persistent Organic Pollutants Regulation (EU) 2019/1021. It carries the German GS mark (Geprüfte Sicherheit), a voluntary independent safety certification based on the EN 60335 standard series, certificate GS/26/HEL/00524, valid until 16 March 2031.

Safe use. The lead is bound inside internal electrical and electronic components. It does not come into contact with the skin and poses no risk to the user under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use. No special handling is required. At end of life, hand the product in as electrical and electronic waste, not with household waste.

Disposal and waste sorting

WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU

This is an electrical appliance. Do not dispose of it with household waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol applies. Hand the product in at a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment so that it can be recycled correctly. Sort the packaging for recycling according to your local rules.

The app stores its settings only on your own phone. Deleting the app removes them. Nothing needs to be erased from the product itself before disposal.
