// The Massager for Your Sexual Wellness

// Are you seeking sexual wellness without the awkwardness of using a sex toy?

Europe Magic wand is a “ball-top” type of vibrator. This kind of vibrator was first introduced as a body massager by Hitachi (Hitachi Magic Wand) at the American market for over 40 years ago and has been idolized by users and experts for decades. It was a fantastic massager that to the surprise of the manufacture, showed out to also be the best vibrator in the world.

Since then the ball-top vibrator has been a fixture on orgasm-courses and a best seller in sex-toys for women on the American market, even participating in the TV-series “sex and the city”.

Magic Wand 220 V
Europe Magic Wand is made by a Danish company and has, besides the good vibrations, nothing to do with Hitachi. Therefore attachments will not necessarily work between the two.

Europe Magic Wand is made with a European plug and for 230 V mains.

// We have listened to customers and improved the ball-top vibrator in several ways

// 6 Speeds

It is the deep and soothing vibrations that give the ball-top vibrator its special characteristics. But, users have told us that they sometimes want less powerful vibrations. That’s why the Europe Magic Wand now has 6 speeds to explore.

// Greater freedom of movement

Magic Wand 230 V

The electrical cord ensures you have power when you need it, but freedom of movement is also important. That’s why we have extended the cord length to 236 cm for extra spontaneity.

// Improved hygiene

We know that the vibrator is used on more than sore muscles, so the Europe Magic Wand is sold with a white soft silicone head for easy removal and cleaning.

Alternatively – Europe Magic Wand can be upgraded with Genio. Genio is a very soft silicone cap with different textures and surfaces for you to explore. Get the best out of your investment in pleasure.

// For the advanced user

The vibrator is designed primarily for use as a clitoris stimulator, but a lot of users want to use the powerful vibrations on their G-spot as well. Accessories like the Genius are available to make this possible. The Genius is designed for maximum functionality, and is made of high quality silicone.

// Your safety is important to us

Legal to use in Europe

Today many products are produced with little focus on user safety. A few shops are insisting on only selling safe toys, but a lot will still sell you anything.

There are a lot of magic wands on the market today, but only one has the documentation to prove that it is safe to use.

Before you buy any 230 V devices, check if there is a mark simular to this one found on the back of the Europe Magic Wand.

If any of the information (except series no.) is missing, then you can be sure is is not CE approved and thereby legal to sell.

  • 6 Speed (2800-6000 rpm).
  • 230 V. Extra long cord (2,3 m).
  • Weight: 670 g.
  • Length 32 cm

Does hummingbird attachment and other attachments for the Hitachi Magic Wand works well on the Europe Magic Wand? Do they have the same head size?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen January 11, 2019, 08:10

Yes all attachments that will fit Hitachi Magic Wand will also fit the Europe Magic Wand.

Europe Magic Wand attachments like Genius, Genio and Silky Touch will transfer the vibrations better as they are mounted directly on the metal head underneath. Therefore you can run the vibrator on a lower speed and have lesser noise when using the attachment.

I am Brazilian and bought a Model: EMW 230v CE ROHS

Already here in RJ BR the Energy is 110v
    What should I do?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen December 14, 2017, 22:36

      Hi Felipe

Nice to hear that you got a Europe Magic Wand:)

It should work on 110 V. Just use an adaptor if needed for your wall plugs.

Let me know if it turns out ok for you?

Hi – what is the latest version and can the UK one be used all over the world? What about the Australian one? If I am in thailand, where is it best to order from? Thanks

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen November 26, 2017, 16:42

      Hi ukwand

The latest version is 17xxxxx for the French plug version and 14xxxxx for the UK plug version.

If you want to use the Europe Magic Wand in countries with 110 V voltage, you should buy the French plug version.

At the moment I am not aware of anyone of our dealers that ships to Thailand:(

Hello, I have this from France and now I’m in US. Can I still use it with just a power adapter or do I also need a voltage transformér?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 8, 2017, 16:21

      Hi M

Check the series number on your Europe Magic Wand. If it is 15xxxxx or above, it will work in the US with only an adaptor. If the series number is 14xxxxx or below, you will probably need a voltage converter also, as the minimum voltage is around 120 V on these versions.

  • Jazz May 22, 2017, 17:54

The genius attachment. I am in the US and very interested in the attachment. I saw a comment that if I remove the head piece off of my Hitachi magic wand it will then fit. Is that correct? If I do that to my wand is it hard to get the original head back on? Or would you just suggest buying a Hitachi Wand specifically to pull the head off and put this attachment on? The wands are cheap enough that is not really a problem but wanted to ask. How do I get one shipped to the US? I can’t find it on amazon UK. Just let me know the best way to get it to work on a US Hitchi and where to buy one and i think i’m good.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen June 9, 2017, 16:33

      Hi Jazz

The head piece on the Hitachi Magic Wand is not so easy to remove, but possible.

Genius will fit fine on the Hitachi’s head piece, but the vibrations is transferred much more effectively when Genius is mounted directly on the head, so the two speeds on the Hitachi Magic Wand is way too high for use. You will then need a variable speed transformer to lower the speed.

I can see Genius here on amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009T2T9S4?th=1

I would like to buy one of our EMW as the specs look very god and don’t want a poorly made one from the web.

Is there one available for Australia as shown on this website https://www.europemagicwand.asia/

    or is this a fake?

  • privatepete April 17, 2017, 23:44

I have the Bodywand but would like to buy the Genius g-spot attachment. Would that fit the Bodywand ?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen April 20, 2017, 16:20

No Genius is made especially for Europe Magic Wand. It will however also fit the Hitachi Magic Wand after removal of the original head.

If the device is disconnected while powered-on, will it resume operation if it is plugged in again? Or does it need to be ‘turned on’ first?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen April 20, 2017, 16:18

      Hi Harry

The Europe Magic Wand needs to be turned on when it has been unplugged.

Hi I bought one from amazon UK, was excellent but the button fell off rendering it useless. Is it possible to by a new button to get it working again?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 21, 2017, 10:11

      Hi Mitch

Sorry to hear that the button was not mounted correctly. I can send you a new one. It is easy to mount, it have adhesive tape on the back, just make sure it is dry on the surface before you mount it.

Please send me your address and I will send one for you.

Any information availble for the rechargable version of europe magic wand, if any? Will it be available for europe and if so, in what timeframe?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 21, 2017, 17:29

      Hi Patrik

At the moment we are not planning to make a rechargeable version. We have thought about it a lot and I will happily describe our reason for not pursuing the battery road.

Our approach has been to make a “no nonsense” Magic Wand that prioritise functionality above all, especially the powerful vibrations.

Battery can have some advantages, but we have not found them to outweigh the disadvantages that it will also bring. Here are our thoughts about implementing a battery:

    • With battery you have to have the massager lying around somewhere to charge after use. We think that it is better to have the opportunity to put the massager away immediately after use. It is meant to be a tool that is as helpful as possible, but as little intrusive as possible.
    • With a battery inside, you will need a wall power adaptor to charge it. We prefer to have the power supply inside the EMW and having a simple plug with a clean look.
    • By having the power supply inside the handle, we are adding some weight to the handle of the Europe Magic Wand. This added weight is lowering the natural frequency of the massager, so it can run at a lower speed without too much vibration in the handle. This slow but very powerful vibrations is often preferred.
    • With a battery you have to choose between powerful vibrations and long battery life between charging.
    • Batteries are not good for the environment.
    • A rechargeable batteris lifetime is usually around 1-2 years when used regulary, we would like our product to last longer.
    • Least but not last, if batteri is a must, there are other products available that already made some of the trade of’s, f.ex. Lelo Smart Wand large.

To our knowledge, most use of the Europe Magic Wand is near a power outlet. Europe Magic Wand has an extra long wire, so it is usually not a problem with mains power use. “Power that makes you smile” should be readily available and not need to charge:)

      Best regards

I’m looking for a place to buy your product in Estonia. I see our flag, but no resellers or online stores?
Where could I get your product and be sure I get the original one?

  • Harry June 29, 2016, 23:15

Hi, I just bought a Europe magic wand off of,

As I live in the UK, then I found this site, and clicked where to buy and you don’t have them listed on your Uk trusted vendor list, only an Amazon seller.

Is this site legit. Or have I bought a counterfeit Europe magic wand? (If such a thing exists)

The site looks pretty legit but not seeing them on your verified where to buy lost makes me worry.

Please let me know if they are legit, if not, I will cancel the payment and order off of one of your European distributors instead. Thank you

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen June 30, 2016, 09:17

      Hi Harry

The site you mention sells the Europe Magic Wand with a plug adaptor. The Europe Magic Wand (UK version, EMW) on Amazon.co.uk (dealer Amok Marketing) is with a native UK plug.

One of my friends is visiting The Netherlands and I have asked to him check if he could pick up the EMW for me. Just wanted to confirm –
    1. Would the EMW work in India?
    2. I was checking online and saw the EMW available at x-toys.nl – Would you recommend I ask my friend to buy it online from that shop? I saw the pics on the website and it looks to be a genuine EMW.
    3. Is there a Brick and Mortar shop in The Netherlands where I can ask my friend to pick it up?

    • Lasse Skjøde Knudsen May 4, 2016, 13:07

Thank you, for your interest – Let me answer your questions below:

1/ Please study http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets/ – I expect, that you would have to use an adaptor in India
2 & 3/ As you can see from our web site we have 9 partners in The Netherlands – feel free to pick any to place an order.. and if you want to pick it up at Hoff Stuff Amsterdam yourself (or your friend), I can only recommend their cozy and beautiful shop.
All the EMW`s that you find on our web site is the “real thing” 🙂

I wish you a lot of fun and pleasure with your Europe Magic Wand

      Best regards,
      Lasse S. Knudsen

  • Eric February 7, 2016, 14:56

I was wondering about the EMW not being waterproof.

    What exactly does that mean?
If liquids ran over the head of the EMW down to the handle and maybe even all the way over the cord, would that be unsafe?

What I am also curious about is the issue of overheating.

From previous statements I know that with certain attachements a shut down due to overheating can occur in as little as 2-10 minutes.
How long does it take an overheated EMW to be ready for use again?
Can it be prevented by other means than using lower speeds?
Will this be improved in future models?

Thank you for your effort in answering my questions.

    Kind regards,

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 10, 2016, 18:58

      Hi Eric,

      Thanks for your questions.

It is safe enough to use the EMW even if there is water going into the massager. It will however destroy it. There is a small fan at the top of the massager, so the water will go into it quickly. If you want to protect it you can put a condom on top of the silicone head and down onto the handle to make it watertight at the top. That will help a lot.

It is not safe to bring it into a bathtub or shower.

      There are two issues here.
a)The massager is using around 10 W at max speed but no load. If you load the massager it will usually use around 20 W. At very high load it is even using 30 W. When we design the massager, we can choose to limit the max load, but that will make it less powerful, so we choose to let the electronics stop the massager instead if the load is too high for too long. If you use the Genius f.ex. it is ok for speed 1-4 but it will be a very tough load for speed 5-6, so it might overheat. Genius and Genio is made to fit directly on the metal head of the massager for transferring the power most efficiently. All other attachments are made so they go on top of the white silicone head. That will loose a lot of power and you can (need to) run the massager at higher speeds to get the same effect.
The massager will usually be ready after a couple of minutes after an overheat, but I would recommend to let it cool for 5 minutes.
      b) The bearings in the head will heat up when the massager is used. If the lifetime of the massager should be shortened, we recommend that the massager gets a break after 20 minutes, if it is used at speed 6 (max). If you use it at lower speeds, it can be used for a longer time. After 20 minutes at full speed, I would recommend a 10 minutes break.

We might change some of this in a future model, but right now I think it is not a problem for most people.

Let me know if you have any other questions:)

      Best regards
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand.com

  • Ron January 12, 2016, 05:49

I would like to know how you can make a product that works on both 110 volts and 220 volts. My experience with the 2 voltages is that the lower voltage gives less power than the higher voltage and I wonder how the frequency changes with this massager. Just curious if it is a auto-transformer. Also if I purchase this EMW how do I know I am getting the AUTHENTIC EMW you are selling here on this website. I may do some looking around. Do I need to check to ensure it will work in Romania? What accessories come with this EMW and what model should I be looking for to ensure I am not getting a replica.
Thank you so much for your time

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 10, 2016, 20:37

      Hi Ron,

The EMW has a switch mode power supply inside that can convert both 110 V @60 Hz & 230 V @50 Hz, so you might only need a plug converter. They will both give the same power output in terms of vibrations.

The authentic EMW has model number “EMW-230 V”, “EMW-230V CE ROHS” or “EMW-230V CE ROHS UK” depending on the age and plug. The two first models are with a French plug (2 prong) that will fit in all of Europe except the UK.

If you choose one of the dealers on our dealer site: https://europemagicwand.com/where-to-buy/ and buy the “Europe Magic Wand”, then you are guaranteed the authentic EMW. There are also other dealers selling the EMW and then you have to look at the model number and the black cardboard box is also a sign of the real EMW.

On every EMW, there is a unique serial number on the label on the back. You can see how it looks here: https://europemagicwand.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/EMW_CE_approved.jpg

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 16, 2015, 10:07

      Hi Marty,

All Europe Magic Wands with a serial number larger than 1420000 will work with 110 V @ 60 Hz.

  • Jman July 23, 2015, 10:20

I like the look of the insides of the EMW,

I have compared many Hitachi & hv260 wands.

The 260 is less powerful maybe 20-30%, the vibs are not is pulse like & tight or strong. out of the box the Hitachi is more quiet.
The only real benefit you get from the 260 is the head doesn’t overheat anywhere near as much as the Hitachi.. but the motor gets alot warmer. Overall the HV250R lasts alot longer.

Can you comment on this & how does the EMW do? thanks

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 16, 2015, 09:56

      Hi Jman,

Thanks for your interest in Europe Magic Wand. I can tell that you know what you are talking about and I will suggest that you take a look here: http://orgasmegaranti.dk/magic-wand-test-hent-en-pdf/

so you can compare EMW with the old Hitachi Magic Wand made with a metal head or the Magic Wand Original made with a plastic head.

As the Europe Magic Wand is also made with a metal head, the heating of the head is comparable with the old Hitachi Magic Wand.

Vibrations are at least as powerful as HV-250R, please see the link for comparison at different speeds.

      Best regards

  • Daniel July 12, 2015, 02:12

    Hi John,
one question, you talk before about a bluetooth solution for the EMW, so that it will contrallable by a mobile phone. Can you please tell me, wheb this EMW with this function will come out approximately ? Will it be still this year ? because i’m still waiting for this function to buy the EMW. One suggestion : i would prefer, when the EMW would be delivered already with a little bag, where you can store it.

    Best regards from germany

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 16, 2015, 09:46

      Hi Daniel,

At the moment we are testing the EMW for the CE documentation. When Bluetooth is added, there is a lot of of extra tests that has to be done before we are allowed to sell it in Europe. If everything turns out fine, I think the EMW Bluetooth will be ready for sale early 2016.

I will consider your idea about a little storage bag for the EMW:)

  • Micha June 3, 2015, 10:07

can the European magic wand be used in the US (110 V 60 Hz) if not, can it be used with a 220/110 V transformer (with 60 Hz).
    please dvise
    TNX Micha

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 16, 2015, 09:23

      Hi Micha,

Yes the European Magic Wand (model# EMW-230V CE ROHS with series number larger than 1420000) will work with 110 V 60 Hz. At the moment, all EMWs sold, except UK plug version, is working with 110 V.

  • Karl June 1, 2015, 00:16

in one of your former comments, you said that a new version of the Europe Magic Wand that you can control by Smartphone would be developed. Do you know when it will be released?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 16, 2015, 09:01

      Hi Karl,

We are working on it. Release date is depending on how the CE testing will turn out, so I’m very sorry that I cannot give any date yet, but our goal is the beginning of next year.

I’m having trouble with finding information about the warranty since the link under “support” does not seem to work. What kind of a warranty this product has?

    Best regards

  • Radoslaw March 22, 2015, 10:54

I,m bought the Original Magic Wand with US plug but i’m not sure it’s authentic wand . Orginal Magic Wand will have serial stamped and warranty card ?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen May 13, 2015, 16:08

We only sell the Europe Magic Wand, so you have to ask vibratex about the Original Magic Wand that is only selling in the US.

Unless you have bought it in the US, chances are that it is a copy of the US model. There are however a few resellers in the EU that is importing it illegally and selling it in the EU, even though it is not CE marked.

On Europe Magic Wand, it will look like this on the back:
      Real Europe Magic Wand
(on some labels the rated power is 15W)

  • Fredeirc March 5, 2015, 20:41

Hi, me and my wife like your magic wand a lot. We also tried some wildly available accessories, not all of them are good and most of them are made for women. We love your genious-attachement, but do you have plans for creating attachements for men, too? Most available attachements are not very effective, so it would be great to see ones, that are better tailored towards your product.
    Thanks, Fred.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen May 13, 2015, 15:50

      Hi Fredeirc,

Thanks a lot for your kind words about our attachments:)

We are developing new attachments. Our standard for functionality is very high, so it takes time for us to develop attachments that are bringing value to the user that is not already possible with the Genius and Genio.

We are not working on any attachment for men at the moment, but I will bring it to the table for future products:)

      Best regards
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand

  • Curious George February 6, 2015, 00:56

Will there be more attachments? Do attachments from different versions of the magic wand (say hatachi) fit?

  • Michael February 3, 2015, 04:59

i am not sure that i have an orginal EMW. Because in the manual stands that you must push the + button for 2sec (Child safe), but my EMW starts without the child safe directly.
    The Serielnumber is 1423xxx.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 7, 2015, 05:24

      Hi Michael,

We have removed the +2 seconds on newer versions of the EMW and if the serial number is on the back of your EMW, you can be pretty sure it is an original Europe Magic Wand. You can also recognize it on the easy to clean silicone plus/minus button.

      Best regards

  • Gleb January 14, 2015, 02:00

Hello, I’d like to buy a Magic Wand for my girl friend and want ask you a few questions.
    1) First of all, I can’t decide what Wand is better, classical Hitachi or newer Europe. As I know Hitachi has 20 wat motor while Europe Magic Wand have only 10 wat. Is your motor same as Magic Wand Original? So i’m interested at, will Europe Wand works so perfect as Hitachi? I mean could I use Hitachi Magic Wand’s accesories with it and willn’t them to heavy fo Europe one? Why Hitachi have more powerful motor then Europe, is that associated with newer technologies used in Europe one and it yields to higher efficiency, or you simply used lightweighter had? And how your Wand will work, if I shall much load it?
    2) My second question is what firm manufacture Europe Wand. Is that Genuine as Magic Wand HV-250R, or Vibratex as model HV-260, or some third firm?
    3) Third question is, can I use it with reduced voltage? I live in Ukraine and we have some problems with voltage in electric network. I measured voltag at mine socket and some times I have only 150V instead of 220V. So some electric devices can’t work correctly and I use voltage stabilizer with them. So whether it are necessary to use automatic voltage regulator with Europe Wand and will not it work less powerful at lower voltage? Maybe you have worldwide model, that I can use with reduced voltage?
    4) And my last question. Can you recommend me your official representative at ebay. I would like buy Magic Wand from this seller.
I saw that Vitamin6.de is one of your recommended webshops, so can I be absolutely sure that I would buy real Europe Magic Wand from that seller?
Excuse me for disturb, but I want to be fully informed before purchasing right specimen of Magic Wand.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen January 14, 2015, 03:23

      Hi Gleb,

      Thanks for your questions.

      1) The Europe Magic Wand is using between 10-40 W depending on the load you apply. Some labels on the back of the EMW massagers show 10 W and some 15 W. That depends on how you decide to label the power usage with or without some load. The EMW motor is as powerful as the Hitachi motor, but as you mention, the efficiency is a little better, so the wattage will be a little lower at the same load.
In regard to loading, the EMW will take the same loads and be at least as powerful as the Hitachi Magic Wand. Attachments will also fit. The silicone head on the EMW is however a little softer than the plastic head on the Hitachi, so the attachment made for fitting on the outside of the white head, might stick to the head in a different way. The Genius and Genio attachment is made to fit directly on the metal head, because it will transfer the vibrations better and then you can use a lower gear setting so the noise will be lower.

      2) Europe Magic Wand has no association with Hitachi or the manufacture of Magic Wand Original (model HV-260 from Vibratex). Our goal was to make the same vibrations for the european women that the americans have had for so many years, but in a package that was legal to sell and use in the EU with CE compliance. In the process, we improved some details, like making the cord longer, the switch waterproof, adding 4 more speeds (6 total) and lowering the noise level. Today Europe Magic Wand still have a metal head, while the other models changed for a plastic material.

      3) Every model of Europe Magic Wand sold after around mid 2014 will work down to 120 V. Most of the EMWs sold from the beginning of 2015 will work down to a voltage of 90 V, so you should have no issue at all.

      4) I can recommend the EMW representative that you mention, vitamin6.de. You can be absolutely sure that you will get a real Europe Magic Wand from this seller.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I will be glad to answer them for you.

      Best regards
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand

      • Julien February 14, 2015, 13:10

        Dear Jesper,

Will it be possible to plug the EMW into a voltage variator/dimmer to adjust the speed continuously, not step by step ? In any case, I’m waiting for this future 90 V version ! Please inform us when it will be ready to enjoy 🙂

        • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen May 13, 2015, 15:43

          Hi Julien,

It will not be possible to use the EMW with a variator or dimmer. Do you need any speeds inbetween the 6 speeds or do you need to remote control the massager?

90% of our dealers are selling the 110 V version by now, but if you want to be 100% sure you get that version, make sure that the serial number on the massager is larger than 1420000. From 1400000 to 1420000 the only difference is the voltage range.

You will not be able to read the voltage range on the massagers label, it will still note the rated voltage as 230 V AC.

          Best regards
          Jesper, EuropeMagicWand

          • David December 23, 2015, 11:57

Hi, is it not possible or just not recommended? All motors can be speed controlled.
We’ve used our wand a handful of times. My wife says it just numbs her, even on one. That’s not to say it’s not pleasurable beforehand. We’d rather not wrap it to reduce the vibration, and there are numerous products available for slowing the original Hitachi. It would be nice to know a it-could-reduce-its-life-but-this-should-be-ok way of reducing the power, because otherwise it’s defunct.
It’s an amazing product, and so well made… I just wish we could enjoy it more.

          • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 10, 2016, 20:46

            Hi David,

It is not possible to speed control the EMW with a light dimmer. Sorry about that.

There is no problems with putting a piece of clothes around the head or something like that, when the massager is working in the low speeds.

The vibrations is different on the side of the head and on top of the head. Maybe that will work better for you.

            Best regards
            Jesper, EuropeMagicWand.com

      • Marcia February 20, 2017, 13:07

        Dear Jasper,

I recently purchased the Europe Magic Wand in Germany from one of your listed retailers, but it turned out to not be universal voltage. I contacted them and they were not even aware that a 90 – 230 V version exists. All the other retailers on the list also seem to sell only the 230 V version. Do you know of a retailer that does sell the newer version? Thanks very much!

        • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 21, 2017, 10:08

          Hi Marcia

If you just bought the EMW, it should work with 90-240 V even if it just says 230 V on the back. You can check the series number on the back of your EMW and if it is 1500000 or above, the EMW will work at a voltage of 90-240 V.

          Best regards

  • Tom January 3, 2015, 22:58

    Hi Jesper,

Could you please inform me when this improved EMW with a bluetooth solution should be available? Will it be a separate model or will it just replace a current revision of EMW?
Could you also assure that next revision of EMW with universal voltage input (90-250 V @ 50-60 Hz) will have similar performance (shown in MW test sheet) as a current EMW.

    Best Regards

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen January 4, 2015, 06:43

      Hi Tom,

The next revision and the Bluetooth edition of EMW will have the same performance as specified in the test sheet.

As the Bluetooth version is still under development, I cannot assure you when it will be ready for sale, or if it will be a separate model number or a replacement.

I will of course keep you updated here when I know some more about the schedule.

      Best regards

  • Tim December 9, 2014, 11:09

Will you ever consider to sell a version with a similar switch to the one on the HMW?
Not that i dislike your wand, but a switch instead of the buttons would let the user swith it on or off remotely with one of thoose remote power switches you plug into the wall.
The current EMW can’t be used in that way since you have to push a button to power it on.
That’s something i would like to see as an option atleast if possible.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen December 11, 2014, 02:41

      Hi Tim,

I see your point, and that some might want to be able to control the Europe Magic Wand without using the switch.

We are constantly improving the EMW and I can tell you that we are working on a bluetooth solution at the moment. Then the EMW will be controllable from a mobile phone app with speeds, programs etc.

      Will that work for you?

      Best regards
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand

  • Andras November 26, 2014, 05:39

Hi! My previous comment was cut short. Damn mobile. Gotta type this at work as its a Christmas gift ;).

Anyway, was just wondering if the head of EMW is the same size as HMW. I would like the options of accessories in the future.

Also, are there different colours available?

Thanks for your time, sorry about the previous post.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen November 26, 2014, 11:15

      Hi Andras,

      Thanks for you question:)

The size of the EMW head is the same as HMW. The EMW head is made of silicone, so it is a little more soft to the touch than HMW. Foam inside the head is the same.

The head is only available in white, but I will definately think about making it in different colors as well!

      Best regards

That’s good news! Makes it basically a sure buy.

        Thanks again!

I’ve been browsing for alternatives to the famous Hitachi Magic Wand and your product seems to be perfect if not even better! I want to buy this for my SO and was wondering if EMW has the exact same head size as HMW. I’m of course referring to the accessories part. Could I

I have a Europe Magic Wand (serial number 130…) and now live in Japan. Is it safe to use the wand here with a plug adaptor?

Thank you very much for your help!

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen November 26, 2014, 11:24

      Hi Monica,

If the Europe Magic Wand works, it will always be safe to use for you.

I can however not assure you about the converter, so I will suggest that you try to buy a proper quality converter to be sure of its safety.

      Best regards

        Thank you! 🙂

  • Greg November 8, 2014, 22:39

Will the EMW also work in the US? Or do I have to use something like that ( https://www.amazon.de/Spannungswandler-Adapter-110V-230V-Universalzubeh%C3%B6r/dp/B005WGQA2O/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1415475538&sr=8-5&keywords=spannungswandler+110v+auf+220v ) to make it work?

    Thanks in advance!

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen November 11, 2014, 05:52

      Hi Greg,

In 3-4 months time, EMW will work worldwide (90-250 V @ 50-60 Hz). Until then you will need an adaptor like the one you suggest.

If you look at the serial number on the back of EMW, serial numbers larger than 1420000 will work worldwide.

      Best regards,
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand

      • Greg November 11, 2014, 07:42

Oh, I just ordered one. Is there a chance that it will have a serial number larger than 1420000? Would be a pity if not.

  • Fureo October 23, 2014, 09:48

    Hello EMW team,

For a while now a have my eye on the EMW, but since it a powerful vibrator, what is the advice for use during pregnancy?

    • Kristine Frisenfeldt Horn October 28, 2014, 07:42

      Dear Fureo,

Thank you for the question. It’s a good one.
I am the producer of Europe Magic Wand and I’m also the mother of 4 – so I’ve been there too 🙂

To my knowledge there haven’t been made any scientifically/medically based research on how the stronger vibrations from magic wands affects the body or the child during pregnancy. At the same time it haven’t been tested how no orgasms or few orgasms during pregnancy affects your child, your mood, your ability to give birth etc.

But even if it had been tested and found safe – I wouldn’t be able to tell you wether it’s safe for you to use Europe Magic Wand in your pregnancy. You have to ask your doctor about that.

What I can tell you is that I’ve made Europe Magic Wand with 6 speeds. From light and gentle to strong and powerfull. To fit more needs, moods and changing lifesituations.

Below here, you find some experts elaborating over the question you asked.

      Good Vibes blog:

And another expert discussing pros and cons:

And while searching I also found Betty Dodson’s advises for using a magic wand while giving birth. Maybe you find it interesting too.

I wish you all the best in your pregnancy.
And please contact me again if needed.

      Best regards
      Kristine, EuropeMagicWand

      • Fureo November 9, 2014, 01:44

Thank you very much for your reply, Kristine. What you stated about the research is indeed what I was missing. But isn’t that something a manufacturer would like to investigate…? Just to be able to state that it is safe. Or not and in that case avoid any harm (or probable claims?).
Just to ask the doctor will not give the necessary information since they don’t know the product nor its effects either.
You will get the standard contra-indications summed up as for the usual sexual activities during pregnancy.

However, you mentioned a good point in the usability of the 6 different speeds, so I guess we all should pay attention to that, to try to hold ourselves and take responsibility (and not let us just thrive by unlimited lust while pregnant ;-)).
Hopefully in future this will be a subject worth doing research on.
Thank you again, I will certainly enjoy my EWM. 🙂

  • Kata September 24, 2014, 17:07

I’m very interested in buying the magic wand but I know my husband would be offended and think I’m not happy with the sexual part of our relationship if he discovered it. So I was wondering, as this vibrator was originally thought to be a massager, can it still really be used to ease muscular pain, give normal massage or contractures? because we both could use it for that and I could disguise it as a normal massager. And he wouldn’t need to know I need some happy alone ‘me’ time sometimes.

Also is any sexual mention or any sexual picture in the box? I need to make sure that if you don’t know this wand special uses you can’t realize just looking at the box.

    • Kristine Frisenfeldt Horn September 28, 2014, 04:50

      Hi Kata,

      Is it a body massager?
First of all – YES – Europe Magic Wand is also used for sore muscles.

Europe Magic Wand is a high quality body massager – that according to the users also happens to be the worlds best intimate massager. It is my feeling that when couples use it together, body massage is an important part. Either as a foreplay or simply as having a great relaxing time together.

      What does the box say?
The box has a logo and a picture of the product – no images that tells the diversity of use. It is a very eco-friendly cardboard box – no connection to the fancy boxes that high quality sex toys often comes in.

The words on the box however gives a hint (same text is in the users guide inside the box):

//Europe Magic Wand – your source of pleasure
Massage loosens up muscle groups, eases tension in the body and give more energy to handle a busy lifestyle. For many people, massage also opens the door to a world of sexual wellness that often contains more than they thought possible.

//Europe Magic Wand – your source of pleasure
Soft, rounded head provides comfortable, relaxing massage
6 speed massage – from light and gentle to strong and powerful
Tested by certified test lab for your Health and Safety

We’ve tried to be very discreet about the diversity of uses, but your decision to buy or not will tell me a lot about how well we succeeded. Please let me know 🙂

      Good luck with your decision,
      Kristine, EuropeMagicWand

Hi, can you tell me the diameter of the head. thank you

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen September 12, 2014, 13:25

      Hi Daril,

The diameter of the head is 6 cm. The length of the whole massager is 32 cm.

Let me know if you need more info.

      Best regards

Is there any chance of you releasing a version with a UK power plug, instead of the European one? It’s not ideal to have to use an adapter.

  • John May 29, 2014, 18:02

In terms of sensation, how is this comparable to the original magic wand? Are they exactly the same at 6000 RPM? Also, how difficult would it be to disassemble the outer casing? (I’d like to change the color myself, of the plastic handle.)

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen May 30, 2014, 02:39

      Hi John,

At 5000 or 6000 RPM (gear 5 & 6) the sensation is exactly the same. But you will also have gear 1, 2, 3 and 4 to try out.

The casing is not made for disassembly and the silicone cover on the switch will not be as waterproof (stick so good) afterwards.

      What color do you want?

      Best regards
      Jesper, Europe Magic Wand

      • John May 30, 2014, 13:58

        Hi Jesper,

First of all, I think it’s very nice that you answer potential customers concerns’ so quickly on your website! It instills a lot of confidence in your product. Thanks for your reply on the RPM.

I was going to DIY it to a black colour, mainly just the handle/grip, is it almost impossible to disassemble? I suppose I could perhaps live with the switch being less-than-good. If it was possible to have one made black, that would of course be even better, but I understand that is probably not possible.

Thanks for your reply Jesper, look forward to hearing from you.

        • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen May 30, 2014, 15:15

          Hi John,

          I’m glad to help:)

I cannot recommend disassembly, but maybe you can do a paint job without taking it apart?

          Best regards

Are you looking to produce this with an Australian/New Zealand plug?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen March 14, 2014, 10:07

      Hi Darryl,

No, not at the moment, but Europe Magic Wand will work well with a travel plug.

Does it have pulse stimulation? I mean not a constant buzzing but rather with pulses.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen March 3, 2014, 04:16

      Hi Christel,

No there is no pulse function. There is 6 speeds with the range from around 2800-6000 RPM.

  • Vincent February 18, 2014, 18:33

This is a great vibrator. My wife thanks you … 🙂
Fast and efficient delivery from your belgian seller.
One (very) little plus could be to deliver it with a nice quality pouch, just like Lelo or Swan do with their toys.

    Best regards

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen March 3, 2014, 04:30

      Hi Vincent,

Thanks a lot for your great feedback:)

We have considered to add a pouch to the Europe Magic Wand package, but it is a tradeoff, we want to be very friendly to the environment with our packaging. That is why our packaging is small and simple compared to others, to keep the footprint from the shipping as low as possible.

If we should add something more to our product, it is important for us that people will use it. Our own experience is that it is only a few that will use the pouch, but if we keep getting more feedback like yours, we will definitely consider it.

      Best regards
      Jesper, EuropeMagicWand.com

  • Michiel October 17, 2013, 16:08

The european wand is only 10 watts, where the original wand is 20 watts. Will it not overheat if used for more than 20 or so minutes??
And are the vibrations equal to the real deal??

I’ve been looking for a wand for my gf but can’t seem to find the right one.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen October 18, 2013, 06:01

      Hi Michiel,

The Europe Magic Wand is actually 15 W but the label on the picture is not updated. 15 W is without much load, it will actually use up until around 50 W if you hold the head tight, so the 15 or 20 W is more a matter on how you choose to label the product.

Hitachi Magic Wand is labeled with 20 W, but the new version, Magic Wand Original is labeled with 10 W. This is due to a new design with a plastic head (lower load) and ball bearings.

To answer your question; the European Magic Wand is also not recommended, to use for more than around 20 minutes. It is however designed, so it is detecting the load itself and if you load it really hard, it might shut off before the 20 minutes.

The vibrations are a little more powerful than the now former Hitachi Magic Wand, that was made with a metal head. You can have a look at this comparison sheet of the vibrations here: Magic Wand Reviews

Let me know if you have any other questions:)

      Best regards

        Cheers for the fast reply!
How do i know what type i order from a website? The pre march or post march version. Is it possible to buy straight from your company so i will get the last less noisy model?

        • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen October 18, 2013, 10:29

          Hi Michiel,

All our dealers on “where to buy” are selling the latest model, so no worries:)

You cannot buy directly on this site, but I can assure you on the quality of our partners and if you are not satisfied you are welcome to contact me directly.

          Best regards

  • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen July 25, 2013, 10:18

    Hi John,

Time for an update to your question.

The Europe Magic Wand you will find on the market now is a more silent version. You can recognize it on the serial number, it will be 13xxxx.

It is quite a lot of difference. The old one was 50 dB @ maximum speed (measured at 0.5m) and the new one is 40 dB @ max speed. The difference would be perceived as half the sound level. A less scientific explanation would be to describe it as the sound level comparable to silent rain or a library.

Regarding your question for new attachments, you can now find Genio at most of our partners sites. Take a look here: Where to buy Genio.

I hope you will enjoy the new and more silent Europe Magic Wand.

    Best regards

      Sorry for the late answer…

We are represented in most of Europe but unfortunately not in Romania so far…
As we don`t ship to the States I kindly ask you to contact one of our partners (re-sellers) in Europe… You shall find the full list of our re-sellers on https://www.europemagicwand.com “Where to buy”

My husband sent me over an american hitachi however it does not fit in the plug sockets in Europe …. obviously. Could you please point me in the right direction on what adapter to buy or maybe a link ?
    It would be greatly appreciated.

    • lasse May 22, 2013, 06:31

      Hi Brooke,

Nice with a present from your husbond….

We hear that a lot… Hitachi as gifts for friends and wifes sent from the States to Europe… The adapter could of course be bought at almost any electronic store all over Europe but we do not advise it as it not safe to use…
Well, as the “American Hitachi” is not legally allowed to sell in Europe we invented the CE-approved Europe Magic Wand with the right plugs for the European sockets..

Please allow yourself a few minutes to study our website “Technical”-subpage which shall explain it all – Hitachi is not to compare with our device as ours is CE-approved/manufactured for the European market and especially improved in many many ways

I wish you a great day

Hi, we have used the product for about 6 months, and already broken, we loved using it so you can understand when I say that it`s missed. Is it normal that it get`s worn out after 6 months? Is there any chance that we can get an replacement?
It have become to be an essential part of our sex life, you may say the lady is hoocked.

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen March 9, 2013, 07:58

      Hi Jørgen,

We are very happy to hear that you like our massager. I’m sorry that you now have trouble with it.

It shall of course last much longer than 6 months, even if it gets used regularly. Just contact the shop where you bought it and they will arrange a new massager for you. If you have any trouble, just contact me on jesper@amokmarketing.com.

If you use Genius on the massager it is only designed for using gear 1-4. If you use it at a higher setting, it might stop after 2-10 minutes to cool of.

What are the dimensions of the European Magic Wand? Particularly, the head: is the European Magic Wand compatible with Hitachi Magic Wand’s accesories?

    • Jesper Rubech Rasmussen February 16, 2013, 07:26

The Europe Magic Wand is 32 cm long.

The head has the same size as the Hitachi’s, and they will fit accessories. The white silicone head on Europe Magic Wand is more soft and easier to remove. The accessories for Europe Magic Wand (Genius & Genio) are made so they will fit directly on the massagers metal head, so you will remove the white silicone head to attach them. This way you can run the massager at a lower speed (1-4, out of the 6 speeds) because the power transfer directly to the attachements. If you attach an accessori made to go on the outside of the massagers head, you will lose some power, especially as the head of Europe Magic Wand is more soft.

Usually the accessories for the Hitachi Magic Wand is made to fit on the outside of the white plastic head, because the head is not made for easy removal. This is ok, because the Hitachi have two levels of speed and they are both very high (same as Europe Magic Wand speed 5-6), so the attachements need to loose some of that power or they will be to powerful.

UPDATE: There is a new version of the Hitachi Magic Wand. It is rebranded as Magic Wand Original. This new version has a plastic head, and the design is changed slightly from the old metal head. Therefore the attachments Genius & Genio is not recommended to use on other massagers than the Europe Magic Wand.

It is a nice new to have it ready for CE…but why so much pricing differences with the US??? It cost around 45 USD…which is about 40 EUR and you sell it in europe for more than 120 EUR. I saw it on one of your sweden reseller shop for 169 EUR and for 123 EUR in spain……
    this is a killer price

      Hi ioio,
Thank you for the very relevant question.

There are a few answers to that question. The short answer is:
      1. The design costs are higher.
      2. The production price is higher.
      3. Testing for compliance with the CE mark is expensive.
      4. It is more expensive to be a responsible reseller/dealer, f.ex. you have to register and pay the expenses for the electronic waste (weee).
      5. European VAT.

The not so short answer is:
      1. The design costs are higher.
We had to redesign the product to make it compliant with the CE mark. The short version is that it has to fulfill the EMC and LVD directive in the “class” the product belongs to. EMC makes sure the EMW is not making too much radio interference into other electrical equipment, either by the cord or in the air (wireless equipment), and that it by itself is capable of working in tough electrical environment. The LVD makes sure it is safe to use and f.ex. will not break and be dangerous if you drop it on the floor. There are several hundred tests it has to comply with.

      2. The production price is higher.
Some of the design changes that was needed is making EMW more expensive to produce. We have also added some advantages like a less noisy motor and 6 speeds in stead of two. To get a visual answer, take a look on the inside: http://europemagicwand.com/emw-vs-hmw-inside/

      3. Testing for compliance with the CE mark is expensive.
Every product that uses high voltage has to be tested by an external lab to make sure it is safe and useable. If you do not have a valid CE mark, you do not have expenses for this.

      4. It is more expensive to be a responsible reseller/dealer, f.ex. you have to register and pay the expenses for the electronic waste (weee).

      5. European VAT.
If you find some prices from dealers selling illegal HMW’s from the US, you will notice that they are also quite costly to buy in Europe. That is when you add up the extra shipping and VAT.

Please get back to me if you have any more questions.

    Hi John,

It is our ongoing work to give you a more silent Europe Magic Wand for each production run we make.

The first big challenge was to get it CE approved without changing the massager in any way that would ruin the deep vibrations. But less noise is on our top priority.

At the moment we are designing on a new attachment with multiple surfaces to give several different external stimulations. But we already have Genius on the market, an attachment that gives more possibilities to the Europe Magic Wand.

    Best regards
    The EMW team

do you think there will be security problems controls at Orly Airport (France) if I travel with my new Europe Magic Wand via AirCorsica, inside my cabin hand luggage?…
      Many thanks!
      Yours sincerly,

        Hi Laurent

There shouldn’t be. The EMW has no batteries or sharp edges, but sometime the people in security has their own ideas, so it is hard to predict.

        Best regards
